I'm a novice programmer, I went through many books recently to learn objective C and iOS programming. All those books, even the "beginner" ones go too fast and skip lessons. Worse: they are full of typos!
This book is amazing. Teaches you in a very fluid intuitive manner. I used to think I suck at programming -- I have attempted javascript and C++ years ago in college but gave up after being confused several chapters in. After reading this book, I now know it was the books and not me. A lot of amateur programmers who's struggled with programming before--whether to make games or non-games--needs to pick up this book!
PS: Like many programming books, it has errors or unclear parts. I strongly suggest checking out the forum if something doesn't work.
A great introduction to iOS and Game Development.
Well laid out book.
Easy to follow, bar a couple of minor errors.
